Positioning large empty containers has given many people severe headaches. To avoid so, and thus easing your operations, VRR introduced the world's first collapsible horse stall in the mid '90s.
Designated as the HMC horse stall, the HMC is designed for travel per B747 freighter aircraft at main deck positions. When not flying horses, the horse stall can be folded to a height of approximately 295mm - meaning you can stack 5 on op of each other at lower deck positions (not necessarily B747, other wide-body aircraft too).
As you may expect, the HMC offers all the basic functionalities to enable air travel of horses. Leakproof, ramps at front and aft side to allow unidirectional (un)loading, partitions to separate the horses and a working area for the groom.

The collapsible HMC horse stable is also available in a contoured version to fit DC-10, MD-11 and B777 freighter aircraft.
