RZX container

 

The RZX container is designed to combine our customers transportation requirements with aviation authorities' airworthiness requirements.

Whereas previous shipments took place in a container with a standard 20ft pallet footprint, latest generation machines for the hightech lithographic industry as developed by our customer required containers with a larger pallet footprint.

 

This led to the development of the industry's very first RZX container. The RZX has a footprint of 125 inch x 196 inch, and thus covers an area as large as two standard pallets loaded side-by-side.

The container contour has been profiled to fit the B747 and B777 freighter aircraft transversally. Due to the high weights these containers will fly on wing positions when loaded. 

As the cargo is temperature sensitive, shock sensitive and precious, the container is severely insulated and a large indepent refrigeration system actively maintains the desired temperature when the container is outside the aircraft.

The interior is equipped with various interface points to position cargo or anti-vibration brackets to which the cargo is secured again.
