The 9G ABY is constructed for use on board of the BAE146-200QC/QT and BAE146-300QT without a crash barrier net or wall (Class I) and has a Max Gross Weight of 4000 lbs under Class I restraint sytems.
Our ABY is believed to be one of the more robust 9G containers available to allow high frequent usage. Durability, strength (impact resistance), easy repair in case of damage and reduced parts count throughout the whole ULD family are key words from design to production.

The container could also be used on aircraft with a crash barrier (Class II, i.e. 1,5 g restraint system) and would then double the Max Gross Weight to 8000 lbs.
In case of TNT, the container is designated with ABN to differentiate it with a regular (1.5G) container. There is a slight change in dimensions, however functionality and aircraft type usage are the same.
