Purpose built for transport of materials required for Red Bull Air Race, the world series aerobatic competition, these containers are vital in their time critical logistical plans.

With limited time in between racing events and chartered aircrafts flying from one race location to the other, it has proven hugely important and challenging to protect vulnerable yet costly shipments from the outer elements as well as the rough cargo handling seen at some airports.

The main characteristics of the aesthetically pleasing lower deck containers are a forkliftable floor for convenience of loading and manoeuvring at race location, solid doors for security reasons (prevention of theft & tampering) and an internal drainage system for loaded wet cargo.

The external tie down rings provide additional tie-down facility for the final shipment by sea to home ground at the end of the race season.

remarks
Whereas regular containers are designed for airport-to-airport shipments, this container is built with additional rigidity to allow door-to-door shipments with rough handling - always protecting the sensitive or precious contents inside.
